Intro

Looking for a way to keep the kids active and entertained this summer without breaking the bank? You’re in luck!  Families across the country can take advantage of a nationwide program that offers free bowling for kids all through the summer months!

Free Bowling Program Overview

The Kids Bowl Free Program is a nationwide program that runs from May 1st to Sep 1st each year allowing each child enrolled to bowl 2 free games every day of the week during the summer!

We took advantage of this deal last summer, and our kids had a blast!

The program has partnered with 1300+ bowling alleys nationwide in both the U.S. and Canada to provide this wonderful outlet for kids to beat the heat and boredom during the summer while they’re out of school.

Most of the bowling alleys allow kids of any age from 2-17 to bowl for free once registered, and there’s even a discounted pass available for adults who want to join in!

With such a large number of participating bowling alleys, there’s a good chance you can find one near you.

How Free Bowling for Kids Works

To register for the program, just visit Kids Bowl Free, then select your local to find a list of all participating bowling alleys in your area.

Select the bowling alley you’re interested in, and you’ll be taken to a registration page.

On the registration page on the right hand side, you’ll see a list of days of the week and times that your alley offers free bowling.

Fill out the registration information for you and your children (just their names and birth dates, no other personal information needed), and your account will be registered.

Then once the program starts, all you need to do is login to your account to access your coupons for free bowling as well as family passes, which we get into next!

Family Pass Savings

Along with free bowling for the kids, the program also offers a heavily discounted Family Pass for adults in the family.

The Family Pass is not required for the kids to bowl free, but it’s a great way for adults to join in and make memories while passing the time while the kids are bowling.

Once the kids are registered for free, you’ll have the option to purchase a Family Pass.  A flat fee starting at $34.95 gives multiple adult family members the ability to bowl with their kids up to 2 free games every day, all summer long!

Bottom Line

The Kids Bowl Free Program is a great, fun way to keep your kids entertained over the summer, to develop bowling skills, and to break away from screens.

If you have a participating bowling alley near you, I highly recommend registering your kids and taking advantage of this incredible deal!

Below, I estimate the average family with 2 kids that takes their kids bowling 3x a week for free over the summer saves $1,020/yr in fees with this program, and that doesn’t even count the savings adults would get from purchasing a Family Pass!

Be sure to take advantage of this great offer over the summer if you have kids!

And as a bonus tip, if you expect to do a lot of bowling, consider buying your own bowling shoes to save even more money, since shoe rental fees add up quickly.
